India is considered to be a rapidly developing nation. The country is home to some of the world's most polluted rivers, such as the Ganges and Yamuna, and many of its urban centers are grappling with severe water pollution issues. With over 600 million people in India experiencing high to extreme water stress. Water pollution has been a pressing issue for India for ages, for which the country has taken multiple initiatives. But, despite constant efforts, the issue still prevails and is still a part of the bigger issue.
