Design and Simulation of Circular Microstrip Patch antenna for advanced wireless communication systems

  • Abstract:
  • The first antenna was built by Heinrich Hertz, a German physicist. In this paper a circular microstrip fix receiving wire has been analyzed and recreated for radar communication and satellite communication. The proposed receiving wire can be recreated at 30 GHz. This antenna was designed by using Rogers/Duroid 5880 substrate material with a dielectric constant of 2.2 & height of the substrate is 1.6mm; the antenna simulation has been realized using HFSS (high-frequency structure simulator) software. The results shows that the designed antenna resonates at 30 GHZ with a Return loss of -15db and gain of the antenna is 7.6db
