  • Abstract:
  • Extinction, a natural phenomenon, has influenced Earth's life development for millions of years. Climate change, natural disasters, habitat changes, genetic inbreeding, and low reproductive rates can lead to species extinction. Evolution allows new species to develop by establishing new environments. Large-scale extinctions, like the Cretaceous dinosaur extinction, alter ecosystems and provide opportunities for new species. Human activities, such as deforestation and pollution, are increasing the rate of extinctions.
