  • Abstract:
  • Numerous researches are being conducted all around the world in connection with biogas. But these are essential due to the fact of increasing world’s fossil fuel demand day by day. Hence, alternative fuels are more important for the future need. Biogases, Biomass, Fuel cell are the main alternative fuels. For biogas production, the raw material should contain any of the following one: fiber or glucose or protein or cellulose. In this research work, an attempt has been made to enhance the biogas production diary and slaughter waste. The raw material diary and slaughter waste contains fiber and some glucose. For enhancing the biogas production, following techniques are going to be followed in this research work. Adding catalyst to the raw material, maintaining pH and C/N ratio are quotable few. By maintaining C/N ratio 25 to 35, it will automatically maintain pH for that purpose NaHCO3 or NaOH will be added in this work. In this research work, biogas production is going to be done at 5% slurry concentration with 1g/l and 1.5g/l catalyst concentration. Biogas can also be used as energy source for numerous purposes. But, any possible application requires knowledge & information about the composition and quantity of constituents in the biogas produced.
