abstract = {There are different methods which were employed to detect the cancerous cell of a lung with image pre processing such as Gabor filter, image segmentation using watershed segmentation and feature extraction by using MATLAB. Computed Tomography (CT) images of lungs were used as input image and obtained the output image in JPEG format. The main aim of this paper is to recognize the tumor in the lungs by using the image processing technique and send that details from particular number. It helps to give the initial information about tumor. This information is physical parameters of the tumor. It helps to take the initial treatment for the patient.},
