        abstract = {Education data mining plays a crucial role in predicting students’ performance,. it's a awfully promising discipline that has an indispensable impact. during this paper students’ performance is evaluated and a few attributes are selected that generate rules by means that of association rule mining. Artificial neural network checks accuracy of the results. A Multi-Layer Perceptron Neural Network is used for choice of interesting options victimization ten – fold cross validation.The artificial neural network selects five out of eight attributes supportedthe accuracy obtained for properly classified information. It is observed that in association rule mining necessary rules are generated victimization these selected attributes.
