abstract = {Now a days almost all the automobiles uses shock absorber to damp out vibrations due to rough road. The energy in the conventional shock absorber is gets dissipated into heat and cannot be used in anyway. That’s way the Regenerative shock absorber was designed and fabricated for the purpose of achieving energy recovered by the shock absorber. The vibrations dissipated by the damper get convert mechanical energy into heat and reduce the vehicle emissions, and recover energy from the energy losses if any. This technology converts electricity and the battery is charged. So the concept of recovering energy by this shock absorber is known as regenerative shock absorber. Regenerative shock absorber is the type of shock absorber that covert continuous linear motion and vibrations into useful energy, such as electricity. When used in electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle. The energy in the form of electricity gets generated by this shock absorber can be diverted to its power-train to increase battery life.},
