abstract = {In Advanced Ultra Super Critical(AUSC) boiler tubes made in Inconel617 is to be welded to the SUS304H using the gas tungsten arc welding process and various defects and the premature failures occur in the welded joints occur due to the various reasons such as stress rupture, stress fatigue failure and boiler tube corrosion.
In order to examine about the fatigue failure and the pre treatment and post treatments of the welded joints the weld is performed in IN617 and SUS304H tubes employing conventional Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) process. The effect of the pre treatment and post treatment of the welded joints are evaluated using the mechanical fatigue test and the stress strain diagram obtained.
