abstract = {Flooding is one of the major reasons for loss of life and property in India. It also causes erosion of agricultural soil into the nearby lakes, rivers and reservoirs. It is one of the main reasons for excess silt/sediment deposition. Dredging is one of the most efficient and popular technique used to remove the silt/sediment from water bodies. In this experimental study, the Bhadra sediment (BS) is stabilized using crushed construction debris (CCD) which increases its strength and makes it suitable for subgrade and embankment construction. Various tests are conducted on the sediment to find the physical and geo technical characteristics.},
