Especially, with the introduction of sophisticated devices, the performance is very sensitive to the quality of power utility. To overcome this problem design of solar energy based dynamic voltage compensator, which is an efficient and effective modern customized power device used in distribution networks. Its appeal includes lower cost, smaller size, and its fast dynamic response to the disturbance. This paper introduces power quality problems and overview of Dynamic Voltage Restorer so that its functions, configurations, components, compensating strategies and control methods are reviewed along with the device capabilities and limitations.},
