        abstract = {Travel Insurance in India is an emerging concept. Recent reports on various accidents suggest that percentage of travelers opting for Travel Insurance is very low. Particularly in Indian context, there is hardly any previous research literature available on the topic. Prompted by recent reports, this paper is an attempt to understand the awareness & popularity of Travel Insurance among Indian travelers. Paper is more of exploratory in nature. Results indicate that most of the travelers are not using travel insurance as their awareness on travel insurance is very low.
