  • Dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is one of the important custom power devices used to mitigate voltage sags. voltage sags are vital to power quality issue which causes a bad economic effect on utilities and customers.in this paper classical control algorithm used for DVR based on Park’s transformation is modified by using sliding mode control. The sliding mode control strategy is proposed to make the system stable and robust. The proposed control strategy is verified through a simulation study and the results obtained are analyzed.
