        abstract = {To establish the background of the study, this paper analyses swiftness in the emergence of communication technology and the official birth of new technology in 1983 called the internet, which has now taken the significant segment in the world of communication technology. The paper also provides a brief historical timeline of the development in the field of technological infrastructure in India, starting with the first electric telegraph in the year 1850 to the era of low-cost data packages and connectivity throughout the country.
