  • This paper talks about the relationship between the job engagement and performance of an employee in IT sector. It also talks about the various strategies which can be implemented by the company or the employer in order to increase the overall employee engagement in the company so that the performance of the employee also increases. The study is limited to certain potential limitations and biases which includes participants from certain industries/ geographical locations. The study employed qualitative research as its primary methodology. The questionnaire was drafted using the information extracted from the articles, review of literatures and reports. The data analysed using descriptive statistics and cross tabulation technique which helps to analyse the data and builds the connections between the variables.
