There are more and more studies that are working on providing the computers with abilities like recognizing, interpretation and simulation of emotional states. A general SER detection system based on ML consists of four main steps. The various technique of machine learning and deep learning techniques are reviewed in this paper. The deep learning techniques include CNN, LSTM. The machine learning techniques like support vector machine, KNN, Random forest etc. It is analysed that deep learning techniques give high performance as compared to machine learning techniques in terms of accuracy. },
