  • Abstract:
  • This study presents the development and implementation of an interactive chatbot tailored for a restaurant website to streamline the online ordering process. The chatbot, integrated with Google Dialogflow, enhances user experience by providing a conversational interface for menu browsing, order placement, and inquiries. Leveraging natural language understanding (NLU) capabilities, the chatbot comprehends user queries, identifies intents, and offers personalized recommendations, thereby improving customer engagement and satisfaction. The architecture follows a modular design, enabling scalability and easy integration with existing systems. Testing methodologies encompass unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure reliability and usability. Performance testing evaluates responsiveness and scalability under varying load conditions. Security measures, including encryption and access controls, mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Future work includes enhancements for multi-language support, voice recognition, and integration with IoT devices. The research contributes to the advancement of conversational AI in the hospitality industry, offering insights into the application of chatbots for enhancing customer service and operational efficiency in restaurant settings.
