  • Abstract:
  • Quantum computing, a rapidly evolving field, promises to revolutionize problem-solving in various domains by harnessing the unique properties of quantum mechanics. This paper delves into the development of quantum algorithms that leverage quantum phenomena like superposition, entanglement, and quantum interference to solve problems that are intractable for classical computers. We explore foundational algorithms such as Shor's and Grover's algorithms, as well as more recent advancements in quantum optimization, quantum machine learning, and quantum cryptography. The potential of quantum computing to outperform classical computing is examined, with a focus on algorithmic efficiency and real-world applicability.
