  • Abstract:
  • As artificial intelligence (AI) technologies continue to advance, there is a growing need to address the ethical implications associated with their deployment, particularly in autonomous systems. This paper explores the ethical challenges and considerations that arise in the development, deployment, and governance of AI-powered autonomous systems. Drawing upon interdisciplinary perspectives from philosophy, computer science, law, and ethics, the paper examines key issues such as accountability, transparency, bias, privacy, and the potential societal impacts of AI-driven decision-making. Through a comprehensive analysis of current frameworks, regulations, and best practices, this paper proposes strategies to ensure that AI systems align with human values and adhere to ethical principles. By fostering a dialogue between technologists, policymakers, ethicists, and the broader public, this research aims to promote the responsible development and use of AI technologies for the benefit of society.
