A Study on Consumers Brand Preference Towards FMCG(Beauty Care) Products in Erode District of Tamilnadu

  • Fast moving consumer goods in beauty care products are tremendous growth in last few years. Compare to other sector the investors are prefer to make their investment in this sector only. Domestic and multinational companies are competing this sector with their new and advance technology products. To compete the competitors in the market the retailers have to understand the need and preference of the consumers of beauty care products in various aspects. Identifying the market condition and influencing force of the consumers in the product is very important factor in customer research process. Study of brand preference of consumers towards beauty care products will be helpful to identify the consumers opinion towards the product performances, price and other factors. This is very helpful to the manufacturer and retailers to frame a unique strategy and service quality parameters to satisfy the customers. Customer satisfaction lead to customer loyalty as well as to bring new customers. So this study is more important for manufactures and retailers of beauty care products. Beauty care products have shorter life either as a result of high consumer demand for the products. Consumers are expecting the beauty care products without any side effects. So the manufacturer have take care of the health of consumers while choosing the ingredients. High quality with affordable cost and need based products are always in the minds of consumers. Advertisement and offers have an significant effect to remain the brands to consumers frequently. The purchase decision of the consumers will change the price, offers and discounts. Brand loyalty will be created based on the service quality of the retailers.
