An Analysis of the Influence of Social Media on Teenagers' Mental Health

  • In the period of innovation, the Internet has spread broadly and been utilized for various purposes by children, all things considered, the main purpose of this research is to explore how teenagers are using social media and getting addicted. With the pervasive influence of digital technologies, social media has become integral to daily life, presenting both opportunities and risks for youngsters. This study analysis Quantitative research. the participants are various schools’ children (N¬-448) respondents in age between 14-17 years. This critical analysis the social media platforms, and its influence on the mental health of teenagers. The discussion delves into how excessive engagement with social media can lead to various mental health challenges, including heightened anxiety, depression, and social isolation. Moreover, the analysis explores how addictive behaviors online may disrupt academic performance, sleep patterns, and interpersonal relationships among youngsters. The findings of the research in social media the greater part of the instances of teenagers’ misuse are unreported in digital Era or the virtual world. The ways forward have been provided for promoting responsible digital use and strengthening balanced lifestyles to mitigate the negative effects on youngsters' mental health in the digital age.
