  • Abstract:
  • Industry 4.0 marks the dawn of a new industrial era, characterized by the integration of advanced digital technologies into manufacturing systems. These include the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and cloud computing, which are revolutionizing production processes by increasing efficiency, flexibility, and automation. This paper examines the conceptual foundation of Industry 4.0 and its impact on manufacturing, focusing on smart factories, cyber-physical systems, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making. Through a literature review, case studies, and theoretical analysis, we explore how Industry 4.0 enhances productivity, reduces downtime, and promotes sustainability. Additionally, we discuss the challenges and opportunities for industries transitioning to this new paradigm and suggest future research directions in the field of Industry 4.0 technologies.
