  • Abstract:
  • Periodontal diseases deteriorate the periodontium, leading to tooth loss. Therefore regeneration of periodontal tissue is a focus of various periodontal treatments. Despite high treatment demand and numerous procedures, healing is prolonged. In this context, platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), as a biomaterial, presents a promising natural alternative with favorable results as it has biological properties like wound healing and regenerative capacity. Our research focused on evaluating the efficacy of PRF in inducing gingival fibroblasts proliferation and migration.
