        abstract = {The transition from a linear economy to a circular economy (CE) represents a critical shift in how businesses operate, emphasizing sustainability, resource efficiency, and waste reduction. This paper explores various financing models that support businesses in their transition to circular economy practices, assessing their investment potential and identifying barriers and opportunities for investors. It categorizes financing models into traditional, innovative, and public financing, highlighting the unique challenges each faces in facilitating circular economy initiatives. The paper further examines the role of public policy in creating an enabling environment for circular economy financing and presents case studies of successful financing models. The findings suggest that while significant barriers exist, innovative financing solutions and supportive public policies can unlock substantial investment opportunities in the circular economy.
