  • Abstract:
  • In today's competitive business landscape, optimizing workplace productivity is crucial for organizational success. This study investigates the synergistic effects of combining 5S principles and job enrichment strategies on workplace productivity, employee engagement, and organizational performance in Coimbatore's textile industries. A theoretical framework, 5S-JE Productivity Optimization Framework (5S-JEPOF), is developed to illustrate the relationships between 5S implementation, job enrichment, and productivity. The findings suggest that integrating 5S and job enrichment strategies can lead to significant improvements in workflow efficiency (20-30%), employee engagement (40-50%), error reduction (25-40%), and quality improvement (30-50%). The study provides valuable insights for managers and organizations seeking to optimize their work environments and foster a culture of continuous improvement. By addressing challenges and leveraging implementation strategies, organizations can unlock the full potential of this integrated approach and achieve sustainable productivity gains.
