  • Abstract:
  • Urbanization and the increase in vehicle ownership have led to a growing demand for efficient parking solutions in crowded areas. Traditional parking methods often result in driver frustration, increased traffic congestion, and time loss. This paper proposes an automatic sensor-based parking lot system that efficiently guides vehicles to available parking spots by illuminating a light at vacant spots. The system utilizes ultrasonic sensors, microcontrollers, and LED indicators, combined with an intelligent algorithm to manage parking space allocation. The proposed system aims to optimize parking lot space utilization, reduce search time, and minimize traffic congestion.
