Also, the purchasing preference of consumers was clustered towards the essential items like, grocery, green grocery, toiletries and medicines. All other items were considered as secondary importance. It was also seen that the usual attraction of consumers with reference to promotional offers and discounts on products did not affect their buying behaviour.
