        abstract = {This study evaluates the economic, socio-cultural and environmental sustainability of ecotourism in Wayanad, focusing on the key factors influencing sustainable ecotourism development in the region. The primary objective of this study is to analyse the impact of sustainable ecotourism on economy, society and on environment of Wayanad on the perception of Tour operators. A total of 200 samples were randomly selected from the Tour operators those who are providing their services in the ecotourism destinations in Wayanad. The ecotourism destinations were chosen using judgment sampling based on their prominence in both domestic and international tourism markets. Primary data was collected from these selected Tour operators through a structured and standardized questionnaire encompassing tourism governance, economic, socio-cultural and environmental aspects of sustainability. Simple percentage analysis and Descriptive statistics were employed to analyse the data. The study results show that economic and environmental sustainability indicators proved that ecotourism development is ensuring sustainability of economy and environment, but socio-cultural sustainability got hampered. The study concluded that ecotourism development positively contributes to Wayanad's economic and environmental sustainability. However, it also highlights adverse impacts on the region’s social and cultural environment, underscoring the need for balanced and inclusive tourism policies.},
