  • Abstract:
  • Racism and inequality remain pervasive issues in the twenty firstcentury, deeply impacting various aspects of society, including economic and political structures worldwide. Despite advances in civil rights laws, disparities in wealth, education, and access to justice continue to underscore systemic inequities, especially for marginalized communities. This paper examines the enduring nature of racial discrimination, focusing on how historical and current policies perpetuate inequalities in areas such as education, healthcare, and the criminal justice system. Through an exploration of key scholarly works and real-life examples, it highlights the critical need for a comprehensive, intersectional approach to address these disparities. The analysis underscores the importance of policy reform, community engagement, and ongoing research to bridge existing gaps and move toward a more equitable society. By examining the obstacles and potential pathways to equality, this work aims to foster deeper understanding and actionable solutions for combating racial injustice in contemporary society. Key topics include criminal justice reform, educational inequalities, healthcare access, economic disparities, and voter suppression.
