  • Abstract:
  • The Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) represents a transformative approach to eradicating rural poverty through community-driven livelihood initiatives. Partnerships between the public and private sectors play a significant role in the successful implementation of DAY-NRLM, providing both financial and non-financial resources to enable rural communities to achieve economic empowerment. This paper examines the various models of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) under DAY-NRLM, their impact on rural development, and the challenges faced in fostering such collaborations. Recommendations for strengthening these partnerships are also discussed to ensure inclusive and sustainable prosperity. Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) have emerged as a promising strategy to address development challenges in India. By analyzing case studies and empirical data, the study explores the diverse forms of PPPs implemented, their effectiveness in achieving development goals, and the challenges and opportunities associated with such collaborations. The findings highlight the potential of PPPs to leverage private sector expertise, resources, and innovative approaches to enhance the reach and impact of rural development programs.
