abstract = {Imidacloprid 17.8% SL is a systemic insecticide of Neonicotinoid group which control the sucking insects and termites very effectively. It is an antagonist by binding to postsynaptic nicotinic receptors in the insect central nervous system. It is used as a foliar spray for the control of aphid, whitefly, jassid, thrips of cotton, brown plant hoppers, whitebacked plant hoppers, greenleafhoppers of rice and termite of sugarcane, leaf hopper of mango, jassid, aphid, thrips of chilli crops. Imidacloprid 17.8% sl has a rapid knockdown effect, meaning that it starts killing insects quickly after they come into contact with it.},
