  • 1,2,4-Triazoles and piperazine derivatives are critical heterocyclic designs with wide applications in pharmaceuticals, materials science and agrochemicals. The review details synthetic approaches to these compounds, with an emphasis on classical methods, modern advances, and alternatives to green chemistry. Integration of 1,2,4-triazole and piperazine frameworks in drug discovery and other areas with future perspectives is also discussed.
