The National Sports Policy, introduced in various forms since 1984 ad revised in 2001 and beyond, aims to promote a sporting culture and enhance performance in national and international arenas. However, the effective implementation of this policy often faces financial limitations. In recent years, Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) has emerged as a crucial supplementary funding channel to support the sports ecosystem. The National Sports Policy,1984, marked a significant step in India’s journey towards structured sports development. Laid in both houses of parliament in August 1984, the policy aimed to raise the standard of sports in the country.},
