Integrated Security Framework for Next-Generation Cyber Defense

  • Unique Paper ID: 184302
  • PageNo: 868-872
  • Abstract:
  • The rise of sophisticated cyberattacks has created an urgent need for multi-layered security mechanisms. This paper proposes an integrated defense framework combining data seeding, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and honeypots to enhance proactive security, deception-based detection, and incident response. Data seeding is introduced as a method of embedding traceable information in databases and communication channels to detect data exfiltration attempts. When integrated with traditional perimeter defenses like firewalls and IDS, along with deception-based honeypots, the framework provides a robust approach to cyber threat monitoring, containment, and forensic analysis.
