Studies on Nanogold, Nanosilica, Globularsilica and Nanodiamond Particles using SAXS Data Analysis

  • Small angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) patterns have been recorded for the samples of nano gold, nano silica, globular silica and nano diamond particles of sizes and their SAXS data has been computed in terms of six-parameter model. The variation of the morphological parameters in these samples have been explained in terms particle sizes related to crystalline and amorphous regions. It has been observed that the samples of smaller size have lower periodicity and in that the crystalline region value is higher than that of amorphous region for the samples of nano gold, nano silica, globular silica particles but in nano diamond particle the reverse trend is observed
