  • Abstract:
  • The present study explored the relationship between self-esteem and life satisfaction among adults. The research aimed to determine whether individuals with higher levels of self-esteem also experience greater satisfaction with life. Data were collected from adult participants through online questionnaires that included the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Satisfaction with Life Scale. Statistical analyses were conducted to examine the strength and direction of the relationship between the two variables. Results indicated a strong positive association between self-esteem and life satisfaction, suggesting that individuals who perceive themselves more positively tend to evaluate their lives more favorably. This finding supports the hypothesis that higher self-esteem is linked to greater life satisfaction. The study highlights the significance of self-worth and self-acceptance in shaping overall psychological well-being. It further suggests that interventions focused on enhancing self-esteem could contribute to improved life satisfaction and overall mental health among adults.
