  • Abstract:
  • This paper, "The M.O.T.H.E.R. Model: Unravelling Economic Wisdom Through the Stories of Motherhood," sheds light on the often-overlooked economic skills of mothers. We introduce the M.O.T.H.E.R. model, which highlights the various economic talents employed by mothers: Management, Organization, Time Management, Household Economics, Environmental Consciousness, and Resourcefulness. Through engaging stories and simple explanations, we explore how mothers handle financial challenges at home, drawing parallels with well-known economic ideas. By blending personal stories with economic concepts, we show how mothers excel in managing family finances, making the most of resources, and promoting sustainability. Our paper underscores the importance of recognizing and appreciating the economic role of mothers, offering a new perspective on how economics intersects with daily life. Ultimately, we advocate for a more inclusive approach to economic discussions that values the diverse experiences and insights of individuals, especially those like mothers, who are often overlooked.
