abstract = {Club-Lit is an innovative full-stack MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) platform that integrates hybrid AI-driven recommendation with real-time social features to transform digital reading into an engaging, collaborative experience. The system employs a combined collaborative-filtering and content-based recommendation engine to personalize suggestions (addressing cold-start issues), and supports virtual book clubs with WebSocket-powered live chat and discussion forums. Secure JWT-based authentication and a cloud-hosted architecture ensure scalability and safety. Empirical evaluation shows ~45% improvement in recommendation accuracy and a 81% increase in user retention for community participation.
