  • Abstract:
  • This paper outlines an intelligent system that automatically pulls clothes to a shaded, dry area the moment it starts to rain. This is achieved through a combination of sensitive rain sensors and a mechanical retraction system. To power itself independently, the unit uses a built-in solar panel. Our tests proved the system to be a reliable solution for preventing clothes from getting wet. Next steps involve making the rain detection even more accurate and allowing the system to connect with other smart home devices.
