  • Issue: 7
  • PageNo: 3355-3356
  • Abstract:
  • Electric Vehicles (EVs) are rapidly emerging as a sustainable alternative to conventional transportation, but their large-scale adoption depends heavily on reliable and optimized charging infrastructure. Optimization involves strategic siting of charging stations, charger sizing, smart charging, renewable integration, and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. This paper presents key optimization strategies, challenges in grid stability, cost, user experience, and modelling approaches using Artificial Intelligence and optimization algorithms. Results indicate that smart load management and renewable-based charging significantly reduce peak load, improve efficiency, and enhance sustainability.
