  • Koh-i-Noor-The Koh-i-Noor diamond ("Mountain of Light" in Persian) is one of the world's most famous and controversial gems, with a history spanning centuries of changing ownership, conflict, and colonial power. It is currently part of the British Crown Jewels and displayed at the Tower of London. The Koh-i-Noor Persian for 'Mountain of Light' also spelled Koh -e- Noor, Kohinoor and Koh-i-Nur, is one of the largest cuts diamondsin the world, weighing 105.6 caratsIt is part of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. The diamond is currently set in the Crown of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
