Adoption and Effectiveness of Digital HR Technologies: A Sectoral Study of Large-Scale Organizations in Kolhapur District

  • Digital technologies have significantly transformed Human Resource (HR) practices in modern organizations. The present research study examines the adoption and effectiveness of Digital HR technologies in large-scale organizations across manufacturing, service and trading sectors in Kolhapur District. Primary data were collected from HR managers using a structured questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, One-Way ANOVA and correlation analysis were used to analyse sector-wise differences along with the relationship between Digital HR adoption and HR effectiveness. The findings obtained from this research show that service sector organizations show the highest level of adoption and effectiveness of Digital HR technologies, followed by manufacturing sector organizations, while trading sector organizations lag behind. The study also establishes a positive relationship between Digital HR adoption and HR effectiveness. The research significantly highlights the increasing importance of Digital HR technologies and provides useful insights for HR managers and policymakers.
