abstract = {Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of Homoeopathy, was a formally trained allopathic physician of his era. His dissatisfaction with contemporary allopathic practices led to the development of Homoeopathy as a distinct medical system based on the principle of Similia Similibus Curentur. Due to structural similarities between the undergraduate curricula of MBBS and BHMS, a recurring academic debate questions whether Homoeopathy should be considered a super-specialization of Allopathy. This review critically examines the historical, philosophical, educational, and regulatory perspectives to address this issue. The analysis concludes that Homoeopathy is an independent and complete system of medicine rather than a derivative or super-specialized branch of Allopathy.},
