  • Abstract:
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force across multiple domains, and agriculture is no exception. Paddy farming, a critical pillar of global food security, faces challenges such as labor shortages, climate variability, water scarcity, pest infestations, and rising demand for higher yields. This paper explores the integration of AI technologies in paddy cultivation, from land preparation to harvesting and post-harvest processing. Applications include satellite-based mapping, AI-powered irrigation systems, smart fertilizer management, and disease detection using computer vision. Additionally, the paper highlights the future potential of AI-driven Internet of Things (IoT) systems for automated water management and resource optimization. Through a discussion of benefits, challenges, and prospects, this study positions AI as a key enabler of sustainable and efficient rice farming.
