abstract = {In modern industrial environments, efficient and intelligent object sorting is essential for improving productivity and accuracy, yet conventional methods rely on manual inspection or basic sensors, making them error-prone and limited to single-feature detection. To overcome these limitations, this project proposes a Smart Vision-Guided Robotic Manipulator for Intelligent Object Sorting, integrating computer vision, embedded systems, and robotic automation. The system captures real-time images using a camera and processes them through techniques such as color segmentation, contour detection, and size estimation to classify objects based on selectable features like color, shape, and size. Based on the classification, the robotic manipulator performs precise pick-and-place operations to sort objects into designated bins. Additionally, the system incorporates an intelligent monitoring mechanism that maintains a count of objects in each bin, considers each object as one unit, and displays the total units sorted per day through an integrated display. It also includes a bin capacity monitoring feature that triggers an alert when the bin reaches its limit, preventing overflow. The system is designed to be offline, low-cost, modular, and scalable, making it suitable for academic, research, and small-scale industrial applications while providing an efficient and practical solution for smart automation.},
