  • Financial inclusion is among the pillars of sustainable economic growth and development particularly in the developing economy. countries such as India, in which the great majority of the population remains without formal financial systems. Microfinance is found to is one of the most effective instruments of financial exclusion in these developing countries such as India. This paper sets out to explore the. contribution of State bank of India, Punjab national bank, and HDFC bank in facilitating microfinance and financial inclusion in Nagpur. city. The research is anchored on descriptive and analytical approach of primary and secondary data collection strategies. Primary data was gathered using a structured questionnaire on 150 bank customers. RBI reports were also found in the secondary data. annual reports of banks, and academic articles on the subject. Percentage analysis, correlation and regression statistical techniques. were also used to evaluate the correlation between microfinance and financial inclusion. The results of this journal showed that Some of the most important aspects of increased levels of financial inclusion are microcredit accessibility and digital banking facilities. Nonetheless, there are procedure intricacies and documentation as some of the issues encountered in the provision of microfinance facilities.
