  • Abstract:
  • E-Learning platforms have transformed education by enabling remote education to be more common and adaptable. Nevertheless, problems such as low student involvement, lack of motivation, and high dropout rates continue to plague e-learning platforms. One solution is gamification, which implies adding elements of game design into non-game learning environments. This study examines the impact of gamification plans on student motivation, interaction, and performance. The comparison between a gamified Learning Platform and a traditional Learning Platform was done using a quantitative experimental methodology. The experimental system had gamification aspects such as points, badges, leaderboards, progress monitoring, and instant feedback. Data were collected using questionnaires, system logs and evaluation results, and then statistically analysed. According to the findings, students who learn using the gamified Learning Platform perform better than students who learn using the non-gamified Learning Platform relative to motivation, engagement, and academic achievement. The results imply that gamification strategies are effective when they are in line with learning objectives and are capable of enhancing learning.
