abstract = {This study investigates the role of peer corrective feedback (PCF) in enhancing productive skills—speaking and writing—among English as a Second Language (ESL) learners in rural polytechnic institutions. Drawing upon task-based language teaching (TBLT) principles and contextualized learning approaches, the research examines how peer-mediated interaction influences linguistic accuracy, fluency, and learner engagement. Data were collected through classroom observations, learner tasks, feedback sessions, and perception analysis across selected rural polytechnics in Andhra Pradesh. The findings indicate that structured peer feedback, when integrated with locally relevant and syllabus-oriented content, significantly improves learners’ grammatical awareness, vocabulary usage, and communicative competence. The study highlights the importance of contextual relevance and collaborative learning in overcoming common challenges faced by rural ESL learners.},
