abstract = {Handwriting is a complex neuromuscular activity shaped by cognitive, psychological, and social influences. In forensic science, handwriting analysis is primarily used for writer identification; however, it may also reveal demographic tendencies such as gender-related traits. This study investigates whether identifiable handwriting characteristics can indicate gender tendencies. A total of 100 handwriting samples were collected from individuals aged 18–30 using standardized materials and writing conditions. Key features analyzed include letter size, slant, pressure, spacing, baseline alignment, loop formation, and decorative elements. The findings indicate observable trends: male handwriting tends to exhibit larger letter size, heavier pressure, and less decorative features, whereas female handwriting often shows rounded formations, rightward slant, and ornamental elements. Despite these tendencies, significant overlap exists between male and female handwriting styles. The study concludes that while handwriting may reflect certain gender-associated patterns, it cannot serve as a definitive method for gender identification. Instead, it should be used as supplementary evidence in forensic investigations. The research highlights both the potential and limitations of handwriting analysis and emphasizes the need for integrating traditional examination methods with modern computational techniques for improved accuracy in forensic applications.},
