  • Abstract:
  • NoSQL (Not Only SQL) databases are designed to handle large volumes of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data in distributed environments. With the rapid growth of Big Data, traditional relational database management systems (RDBMS) face challenges in scalability, flexibility, and performance. This paper examines the role of NoSQL database, focusing on their necessity, limitations of SQL systems, and their objectives. One of the major strengths of NoSQL databases is their ability to scale across multiple systems while supporting flexible data structures, and high availability, making them suitable for modern applications such as cloud computing, real-time analytics, and social media platforms.
