abstract = {There has been an increasing demand of mobile solutions, which simplifies the interaction between a patient and a doctor, in the healthcare industry. The scheduling of appointments is still one of the major challenges because of the lack of availability, poor communications, and wait. Doc Time is a mobile application, which will make the process of booking an appointment easier and will decrease patient waiting time, as well as will increase access to healthcare. In this paper, the design, development, and evaluation of Doc Time have been introduced, with the main argument being the characteristics of the product, its usage, and the effect it has on patient satisfaction. The paper also examines how healthcare providers can optimize their services by integrating real-time notification, secure management of patient data, and analytics to enable it.},
